You don't need a psychology degree or therapy background
Most STILL coaches are parents, teaching assistants, support workers, therapists, or people who've lived with anxiety themselves and want to turn that insight into meaningful work.

Do I need previous experience?
No. Some of our best coaches joined with no formal background and have gone on to build thriving practices.
Is this therapy?
The STILL Method is structured coaching and education, not clinical therapy. It's trauma-informed. Many therapists add STILL because it gives them a practical framework.
Can I work with individuals and groups?
Yes. The training prepares you for both 1-to-1 and group work.
How much time do I need?
Live route: four full days. Self-paced: spread modules over weeks or months.
Is there ongoing support?
Yes. Monthly mentoring, team meetings, marketing materials and case advice.
Can I train outside the UK?
Yes. Training is online. We have coaches working internationally.

What qualifications will I receive?
You will receive an accredited certificate, a licence to use the STILL Method tools and workbooks professionally, and permission to describe yourself as a STILL Method Anxiety Coach. This is a recognised anxiety coaching qualification.
Can I earn money as an anxiety coach?
Yes. Many of our coaches build successful practices working with private clients, schools, and community organisations. You may also be able to access paid work through our Community Interest Company. Coaches set their own rates and work schedules, with support from the STILL Method network.
What's included in the training fee?
The training fee of £1,250 (or £1,500 for both child and adult routes) includes all live or recorded teaching, lifetime access to materials, your STILL Method Anxiety Coach licence, full toolkit and resources, and access to ongoing mentoring and team meetings. There are no annual registration fees.
Do I need to buy materials for each client?
Yes. After training, each person you work with will need their own STILL Method workbook, currently £15. This ensures every client has their own materials to work through and keep.
What if I'm already a therapist or counsellor?
Many therapists and counsellors add the STILL Method to their existing practice because it provides a practical, structured framework for working with anxiety. The method complements therapeutic work and can be integrated into your current sessions.
