How to Become an Anxiety Coach Using The STILL Method
If you’ve ever wanted to help others overcome anxiety but didn’t know where to begin, this guide will walk you through what it really takes to become an anxiety coach — and why The STILL Method is a practical, powerful way to get started.
You don’t need a degree in psychology. You don’t need years of training. You need a proven approach that actually helps people — and the confidence to use it. That’s what The STILL Method provides.
What is an Anxiety Coach?
An anxiety coach is someone trained to support others with anxiety using structured, practical tools. It’s not therapy. You’re not diagnosing people or delving into the past. You’re offering a clear, supportive path forward.
Anxiety coaching focuses on what can be changed — helping people learn new ways of thinking, reacting, and managing fear. It’s often faster-paced than counselling and can sit alongside other forms of support.
Coaches trained in The STILL Method work with individuals, families, and even in schools or workplaces. It’s flexible, focused, and centred on giving people real-life tools they can use straight away.
Why Choose The STILL Method?
The STILL Method was created for people who want more than vague advice or mindset talk. It gives both the coach and the client structure, language, and a sense of direction.
Many of our coaches come from education, care, parenting, or mental health support roles. Others come with personal experience of anxiety and a desire to make a difference. The training is practical, engaging, and grounded in the real world.
What makes it different:
You learn tools that work in the moment — not just concepts
It’s based on how the brain responds to fear and threat
You’re supported to start running sessions, not just learning theory
You get to use tried-and-tested resources with your clients
You’re part of a community of coaches delivering anxiety support across the UK and beyond

Who This Is For
This training isn’t just for professionals. It’s for anyone who cares deeply about helping others and wants to learn how to do that safely and effectively.
Some of our coaches work full-time as anxiety coaches. Others use what they learn to support children, students, staff, or clients in their existing roles.
What they all have in common is that they’re tired of watching people struggle without the tools they need. They want to be part of the solution.
Is This the Right Time?
People often wait too long to start doing what they know they’re meant to do. Becoming a STILL Method anxiety coach could be one of the most meaningful decisions you ever make — not just for others, but for yourself.
If you’re ready to take the first step, we’d love to hear from you.
