How Much Does STILL Method Training Cost? Every Course Explained

If you have spent any time on The STILL Method website, you have probably noticed there are a lot of courses. Anxiety coaching, grief, sleep, ADHD, therapeutic art, emotional regulation, pain, low mood, trauma, burnout, corporate wellbeing. It is a lot to take in.

This page exists to make that decision simple. It covers every course, what each one costs, who it is genuinely for, and how the pieces fit together. It also explains when the Training Pass makes financial sense and when it probably does not.

No pressure. Just an honest breakdown.

First: what all STILL Method courses have in common

Every course on this page shares the same foundation. The STILL Method is built on a nervous system framework. That means anxiety, grief, sleep problems, burnout, chronic pain and low mood are all understood as nervous system states rather than character flaws or thinking errors.

This matters because it changes how you work with people. You are not trying to talk them out of fear or coach them into a better mindset. You are helping their body understand that the threat has passed. That is a different kind of work, and it is why people who train with us often say the method changed how they understood themselves as much as how they support others.

All courses are accredited by ACCPH and IPHM. All are delivered online, either live on Zoom or self-paced. None require prior coaching or therapy experience.

The flagship: STILL Method Anxiety Coach Certification

Cost: £1,250 (children or adults) or £1,500 (both)

This is where most people start, and for good reason. The anxiety coach certification teaches the complete STILL Method framework across four live days on Zoom or as a self-paced online course. You leave qualified to work with children, teenagers or adults living with anxiety, depending on the route you choose.

It is the most comprehensive training we offer and the one that underpins every other specialism. Many practitioners add further certifications later because the anxiety framework gives everything else context.

This course is right for you if anxiety is the primary focus of the work you want to do. It is also a strong starting point if you are not yet sure which direction to take, because the nervous system framework you learn here applies to almost every other specialism on this page.

If you are deciding between this and the Training Pass, the anxiety certification alone is the better choice if you want to start focused. The Training Pass makes more sense if you already know you want to work across multiple areas.

Grief Coach Practitioner Training

Cost: £395

The Life After Loss grief coach training prepares you to support adults through bereavement, loss and life after grief. It covers grief models, trauma-informed practice and practical coaching tools. Live on Zoom across two days or self-paced online.

This course consistently attracts teachers, support workers, hospice volunteers and people who have experienced significant loss themselves and want to turn that experience into meaningful work. It is one of our most popular standalone certifications.

From September 2026 grief education is a statutory requirement in every school in England. If you want to work with schools, the child grief course below is the more targeted option. If your focus is adult clients, this is the one.

Child Grief Coach Practitioner Training

Cost: £595

The child grief certification is specialist training for working with children and young people through grief, loss and bereavement. It covers child psychology, attachment, adverse childhood experiences and resilience. A complete KS1 to KS4 programme is included, fully aligned to the September 2026 DfE RSHE statutory guidance.

This course is for teachers, SENCOs, school counsellors, residential care workers and coaches who specifically want to work with children. It can be delivered by school staff trained in it or by independent practitioners offering it to schools as a service.

If grief work with both adults and children interests you, both certifications together cost £990. That compares well to any comparable training elsewhere, and both are included in the Training Pass.

Sleep Coach Certification

Cost: £395

The Restful Reboot sleep coach certification trains you to support adults with chronic insomnia and sleep disorders using CBT-I, hypnotherapy techniques and The STILL Method anxiety framework. Two days live on Zoom or self-paced online.

Sleep coaching is a growing specialism and most providers teach it in isolation. This course is built on the understanding that chronic sleep problems are often anxiety in disguise. If your clients struggle with sleep, they are almost certainly struggling with nervous system dysregulation. This course gives you the tools to work at that level rather than just giving clients a sleep hygiene checklist.

Many practitioners pair this with the anxiety certification. The two specialisms overlap significantly in practice.

ADHD Coaching Practitioner Certification

Cost: £795

The ADHD coaching certification trains you to work professionally with ADHD clients using a structured, neurodivergent-affirming coaching approach. It covers executive function, emotional dysregulation and nervous system differences. Delivered live across four Zoom days.

One important note: the ADHD certification is ordinarily not included in the Training Pass. However, for Training Pass purchases made before 18 April 2026, ADHD is included at no extra cost — a saving of £795. After that date it returns to being a separate booking at £795. If you are considering both, this week is the right week to decide.

This is our most requested specialism and for good reason. ADHD is significantly underdiagnosed in women and in adults generally, and demand for nervous system-informed ADHD coaching is growing rapidly.

Emotional Regulation Practitioner Training

Cost: £295 to £395 depending on route

The emotional regulation course gives you evidence-based tools to support children and adults who struggle with emotional dysregulation, overwhelm and behavioural responses to stress. Two live Zoom days or self-paced online.

This is one of the most versatile certifications in the range. Teachers, coaches, therapists and support workers all use it. If you work with children whose behaviour is driven by dysregulation rather than choice, or with adults who cannot access their thinking brain when emotions run high, this course gives you a clear framework for that work.

Therapeutic Art Practitioner Training

Cost: £395

The STILL Art certification trains you to facilitate therapeutic art sessions with individuals and groups, using creative practice to support emotional regulation. Two live days on Zoom plus ten-plus hours of bonus online content, or entirely self-paced.

You do not need to be an artist. This course teaches a structured method for using creative processes to help people express feelings that words cannot reach. It is particularly effective with children, neurodiverse people and anyone who finds direct conversation about emotions difficult.

STILL Art practitioners are already running sessions in schools, children's homes, older people's services and private practice across the UK. It is one of the only courses in the UK that integrates social stories with therapeutic art.

Pain Coach Certification

Cost: £795

The pain coach certification trains you to support clients living with chronic pain using mind-body tools, emotional regulation and a structured coaching framework. It covers pain as a nervous system output, neuroplasticity and the emotional drivers of persistent pain.

This is a specialism with very few well-trained practitioners in the UK. Most pain support focuses on physical management. A nervous system approach to chronic pain is genuinely different and the results can be significant for clients who have tried everything else.

Low Mood and Emotional Withdrawal Practitioner

Cost: £395

The low mood certification trains you to support people experiencing depression, emotional shutdown and loss of motivation. It covers behavioural activation, nervous system regulation and compassion-focused coaching techniques.

This sits well alongside the anxiety certification because anxiety and low mood often appear together and feed each other. Many practitioners add this as their second course for exactly that reason.

Trauma-Informed Practitioner Training

Cost: £395

The trauma-informed certification teaches you to recognise trauma responses and create safe, regulated environments across education, therapy and residential care. Grounded in neuroscience and The STILL Method framework. Two live days online.

This is less a standalone coaching specialism and more a framework that strengthens everything else you do. If you work in schools, children's homes or any setting where trauma is present, this course changes how you read behaviour and how you respond to it.

STILL Corporate Wellbeing Coach

Cost: £1,600

The corporate wellbeing certification trains you to deliver workplace wellbeing coaching using The STILL Method framework. Stress, anxiety, emotional regulation and team resilience in organisational settings.

If you want to work with businesses rather than individuals, this is the route. Corporate contracts pay differently to private clients and the skills involved in working with teams and organisations are distinct from one-to-one coaching.

Burnout Masterclass

Cost: £120

The burnout masterclass is a one-day CPD session that reframes burnout as a physiological and emotional safety response. Evidence-informed tools for recognising, addressing and recovering from burnout in yourself and the clients you support.

At £120 this is the lowest price point in the range and a good way to experience the STILL Method approach before committing to a full certification. It is also genuinely useful CPD if you work in any high-pressure environment.

So which course should you do first?

The honest answer depends on three things. Who you want to work with. What presenting issues they bring. And whether you want to build broadly or go deep in one area first.

If you want to work with anxious children or adults, start with the anxiety coach certification. It is the most complete training and the framework everything else builds on.

If you want to work specifically with grief, schools or the September RSHE requirement, start with the grief coaching or child grief certification.

If you want to use creative practice to support anxious minds, start with STILL Art.

If you are not sure, the anxiety certification is almost never the wrong answer. It gives you the widest foundation and the most flexibility.

When does the Training Pass make sense?

The Training Pass gives you access to every STILL Method certification for £2,100. That covers twelve courses with a combined individual value of over £7,460.

It makes clear financial sense if you want two or more certifications. Two courses alone would cost between £790 and £2,295 depending on which you choose. Three takes you well past the pass price regardless of which three you pick.

It makes particular sense if you work in a setting where multiple presenting issues appear. Schools, residential care homes, family support services and NHS settings rarely see just one issue at a time. A practitioner with a broad certification portfolio can meet clients wherever they are rather than referring everything outside their narrow specialism.

It also makes sense if you are at the beginning of your practice and want to make one decision now rather than revisiting the question every six months as your work evolves.

It is less obviously the right choice if you are certain you only want one specialism and have no plans to expand. In that case the individual course is simpler and cheaper.

The ADHD certification is ordinarily not included in the Training Pass and is booked separately at £795. However, for Training Pass purchases made before 18 April 2026, ADHD is included at no extra cost. After that date it returns to being a separate booking.

A note on payment plans

Payment plans are available on most courses through the booking page. The Training Pass can be discussed directly at train@thestillmethod.org. We would rather find a way to make it work than have cost be the thing that stops someone from training.
